Our Y9 Girls Gallently Achieve 2nd Place in the Federation Netball Tournament

HABE’s U14 netball team achieved second place in this year’s Harris Federation Netball Tournament hosted at Falconwood. The girls were set to defend their title having won last year however they soon discovered the competition had upped their game.

After a defeat in a challenging first match, the team remained composed showing true resilience and determination. Through combination of an agile Centre, a speedy Wing Attack and a highly accurate Goal Shooter, the girls regained control and won the remaining four matches.

Although they didn’t get the goal medals they were aiming for, it was a fantastic achievement having faced such fierce competition and the girls walked away with their heads held high!
