Dear HABE I had the privilege to referee your u18 boy's team v Tunbridge Wells Grammar. Although the HABE team were beaten the way they conducted themselves deserves praise & recognition. You should be proud of the young men who represented their school today. # Referee

Parent feedback on our Carol Concert I was hugely impressed with the quality of the performances at the HABE concert last night. The concert band were excellent by any measure - first class. The Yr7 choir, chamber choir and soloists were also incredible as was the Year 7 choir.

HABE v Beckenham Rugby Club - U12's Floodlit Match

We started the game well with Josh McGrath and Theo Amoah showing some strong running with the ball in attack. Josh Thurston and Aloys Youmbi defended extremely well making many try saving tackles. We finished the first half with no tries but with an outstanding performance as a team and some excellent individual performances from Dominykas Balasaitis and Daniel Maier.

We started very well in the second half showing how effective we can be as a team when in possession of the ball. From a scrum on the half way line we successfully passed the ball down the line. The ball got to Jaydan Davy who used his quick feet to step round two of the opposition players, running 40 metres to score. We continued to battle hard in defence managing to keep Beckenham from scoring on many occasions. We started to improve at the breakdown with some hard work from Trai Williams, Alex Pink and Patrick Guckian in this part of the game. We managed to score one more try before fulltime, again with Jaydan Davy using his pace and footwork to take on four defenders to score.

Although we lost, there were signs of some outstanding Rugby and the team demonstrated that they are beginning to work and form as a cohesive unit.  We will continue to train over the summer term and with many of our boys joining Beckenham Rugby club, the future looks exciting!
