Group A update: one coach will be arriving back to school at approximately 3:30pm. The other coach is still on its way to the site and we will not be leaving until 3pm approx. This means half the group will be back an hour later than planned. Please look out for a text

AMAZING BOUNCING RESULTS!

Yesterday, Thursday 7th December 2017 our mixed aged trampolining squad attended the annual Federation Trampolining competition held at Harris Academy Merton. This was our first competition of the year and what an incredible result! 

Our students represented the Academy in an exemplary manner and were complimented on their brilliant conduct and beautiful presentation throughout the day.  Some highlights of the competition were;

Overall result;

Harris Academy Beckenham- 1st with the overall score of 427.7

Harris Academy Chafford Hundred- 2nd

Harris Academy South Norwood- 3rd

Team result in categories;

Harris Academy Beckenham- 3rd in Novice

Harris Academy Beckenham- 2nd in Intermediate and Advanced

Individual results;

Novice- 4th (Ellie Cheeseman)

Intermediate- 3rd (Kasey Murphy) and 2nd (Lily Dearing)

Advanced- 3rd (Mae Riley)

Highest scoring overall;

Both bounce routines- highest Harris Academy Beckenham score; Lily Dearing with 51.1 our of 60

Single bounce routine- highest Harris Academy Beckenham score; Mae Riley with 27 out of 30.

 

I'm proud to report that the profile of girls sport within the Academy is continuing to flourish.
