Parent feedback on our Carol Concert I was hugely impressed with the quality of the performances at the HABE concert last night. The concert band were excellent by any measure - first class. The Yr7 choir, chamber choir and soloists were also incredible as was the Year 7 choir.

Confidence Commanded the 1st Round of Debate Mate

On Monday January 22nd, a group of students (years 7-10) participated in the first round of the Urban Debate League.

Students debated about controversial issues ranging from  laws regarding television adverts and the need to give the police more access to social media accounts and other media platforms. 

The students remained confident and their level of debating was highly commendable. 

In the end, Harris Beckenham won three of four debates and will be contenders in the second round of the competition.
