Parent feedback on our Carol Concert I was hugely impressed with the quality of the performances at the HABE concert last night. The concert band were excellent by any measure - first class. The Yr7 choir, chamber choir and soloists were also incredible as was the Year 7 choir.

RE Celebrates Religious Diversity

Y8 Sikh Gurdwara 23.3 1

As part of celebrating religious diversity in London our year 8’s visited a Sikh Gurdwara yesterday.  With their hair wrapped in scarves they viewed the Guru Granth Sahib in the Diwan Hall and listened to a talk on the history of Sikhism. 

 

For many the most enjoyable part of the day was taking part in the langar meal (vegetarian lunch) where students sat crossed legged on the floor, to demonstrate that all are equal, in the true spirit of Sikhism!
