Sixth Form Students View the Future at BETT

Harris Beckenham’s Sixth form computing class travelled to the BETT  show at ExCel London on a crispy cold January morning.

The group enjoyed to chance to program miniature robots, play interactive educational games on 50” touch screens! Discussed  software and products with leading technology companies, and, incredibly, rode on driverless trains!
 

Our students were even lucky enough to hear a talk and view a demonstration by Google about their new product,  ‘Google Classroom’ which looked and felt like it could be extremely useful in the classroom environment!

However, the day eventually had to end and everyone left BETT with their pockets lined with freebies and some exciting ideas to converse over on the way home.
