KS3 Visit the Serengeti!
Twenty Nine excited students made their way along the Strand to the Lyceum Theatre. Some were singing 'Hakuna Matata', others 'The Circle of Life' and some were just wondering how exactly the fatal stampede scene was going to be shown. The vibrant and colourful show had the students in awe and captivated by the costumes and props from start to finish. Rafiki had everyone in stitches with her strange and comical nature, but also sparked insightful conversations in to the click language that she spoke in during one scene. The show, apart from being truly inspiring due to its uplifting nature, also made the students really question the moral dilemmas the characters found themselves in. It was an unforgettable performance enjoyed by all and even made Ms James shed a tear!
