Bouncing for Trampolining Success!

Federation Trampolining Competition

As soon as we stepped foot into the sports hall, we could smell the competition ahead of us. We made our base on the benches and began our warm ups. Everyone was nervous and conscientiously trying to perfect their routines before the first flight began.

Josh, Ellie and Poppy Watts excelled in the novice category. This was followed by the intermediate category made up of Madison, Poppy Hollick, Kasey and Lily. They too fought off their competition tremendously. It was now time for the advance competitors to take their position in the line up.  This was myself, Maisie, Deyvell, Millie and Katrine. As we awaited the final flight, our hearts were beating out of our chests. This was the closest fought category with just 0.5 points between the top three Academies.

Finally, we had to nervously wait for the results. Harris Beckenham achieved overall 3rd in the Novice group with a fantastic 3rd individual place from Ellie, overall 3rd in the Intermediate group and overall 4th in the Advance group. This meant our whole squad placed 4th overall in the federation competition! Well done Harris Academy Beckenham!
