Parent feedback on our Carol Concert I was hugely impressed with the quality of the performances at the HABE concert last night. The concert band were excellent by any measure - first class. The Yr7 choir, chamber choir and soloists were also incredible as was the Year 7 choir.

Our Most Successful Year Yet!

Wednesday 13th January was the annual Bromley Indoor Athletics Competition held at Langley Park Girl’s School for years 7 and 8 students. It is something that the Academy has attended for the past four years with each year bringing more success; this year was the most successful year yet! It was a first ever 1st place victory with our year 7 team! This was thanks to 1st places in all but one of the track events and an impressive field events including  an outstanding performance by Renee our champion shot putter. It must also be noted that three out of the six students who made up the year 7 team; Lily Walker, Kadi Bryne and Mickaela Gale, had also spent the day competing in a Bromley football tournament prior to this competition, which makes this win all the more impressive! They have now earned their place in the regional competition, not only representing the Academy but the Bromley Borough as well. The year 8 team finished a respectable 3rd place out of 8 teams with victories seen by Christine Abass-Owusu in the two lap sprint, a photo finish victory in the two lap sprint relay and a new personal best in the shot put by Lily Burns. Well done girls, a fantastic performance by all.
