Massive credit is due to Martha Burgess in Year 8 for her short story ‘A Date with Death…Literally,’ which has been chosen for publication in the Young Writers’ ‘Fright Club-Eerie Encounters’. The book will be published on 11th December.

In the loop with… Vaping

In our first edition please find a link provided by Bromley Changes to keep you ‘in the loop’ with Vaping.

Unfortunately what started as a way of quitting smoking, has now developed into a new generation of vapers with reports of primary school age students using them!

Vapes are a banned item within the academy and we do not condone any use of them, but unfortunately many people see them as harmless and/or having no side effects for our community of students.

We urge you to take the time to watch the video below so you are fully informed about vaping to help support our young people to make good choices about their health and lifestyle.
